I am from a small northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois. In December 2009, I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Feeling compelled to serve, travel, and take a first-hand look at global social issues and policies, the Peace Corps seemed like the right fit for me both personally and professionally. Turning 22 just before my departure for Armenia, I look forward to this challenging life experience before starting a career back in the United States.
